Hours and Policies
The hospital opens at 9:00am Monday – Saturday and at 9:30am on Sunday. Pets may be dropped off or picked up for boarding starting at these times. Please make arrangements to come later if your pet is receiving a bath before discharge. Special arrangements can be made to accommodate early drop-offs, if necessary.

Every effort is made to ensure that you are not kept waiting for your appointment, but please understand if an emergency or difficult case takes precedence.

If an emergency occurs after hours, please call (718) 474-0500 and our answering service will direct your call to the veterinarian on duty, who will return your call as quickly as possible. In the rare event that one of our doctors is not available, you will be referred to an emergency clinic.

An emergency fee is charged for after hours services. Payment for all services is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, checks (with driver’s license), Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover and Care Credit. If in doubt, please request an estimate of costs before services are rendered, to avoid any confusion.
